The large diameter of most fiberglass blanks can limit the range of reel seat options. The Fiberglass stent is the solution to fit any reel seat with any blank. Check out the video above to see how to install. Out stents measure .312″ and are 7 inches long. Stents are made from solid fiberglass rod. For inserts made of burl or bamboo it is recommended to extend the stent the full length of the reel seat. Need a longer stent? No problem. Check out our custom length stents.
